BOGOTA, Colombia – Due to heavy precipitation leading up to and throughout the day Thursday, the PGA TOUR Americas Rules Committee announced at 12 p.m. local time that the first round of the Inter Rapidisimo Golf Championship will be delayed with play scheduled to start Friday morning.

First-round play was scheduled to begin at 6:35 a.m. local time Thursday, but due to unplayable course conditions caused by rain in areas surrounding the golf course, the PGA TOUR Americas Rules Committee made the decision to delay the start of play.

The Inter Rapidisimo Golf Championship is the sixth and final event in the Latin America Swing of the PGA TOUR Americas 2025 season, and players are vying for a spot in the top 60 of the Fortinet Cup to gain access to the North America Swing. J.M. Butler currently holds the No. 1 spot in the Fortinet Cup, with 735 points in five starts. Play is scheduled to begin at 6:35 a.m. local time on Friday off the Nos. 1 and 10 tees.
